Job summary

M&G is seeking a Category Manager to own the Enterprise Software category, acting as a senior commercial adviser and driving savings. You will lead strategic sourcing, shape vendor strategy, and influence how the business specifies and buys software solutions.

The role requires deep category knowledge, strong negotiation skills and the ability to partner with cross-functional teams across the UK and India. This is based in London or Stirling with majority on-site work.

Qualifications

• Substantial category management or strategic sourcing experience.
• Proven ability to deliver measurable savings in a complex organisation.
• Strong negotiation, governance and stakeholder influencing skills.
• Experience with enterprise software and SaaS sourcing is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Define category strategy for Enterprise Software and lead savings plans.
• Design sourcing events, evaluation criteria and negotiation approaches.
• Influence senior stakeholders and align with Finance on baselines and run rates.
• Collaborate with India team to ensure consistent delivery and governance.
