Job summary

Emplyfy is seeking an IT Engineer to join a fast-paced MSP environment. You will be the first point of contact for customers, visit sites to troubleshoot and perform maintenance, and manage incidents via the Service Desk tool.

The role requires 5+ years in a similar IT support position, experience with Cyber Essentials, GDPR security, Office 365, Intune, RMM, and network infrastructure. You will work with colleagues to resolve issues and keep customers informed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a similar IT support role.
• Experience configuring Cyber Essentials and GDPR security standards (mandatory).
• Proficiency with Office 365 Cloud (Email, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive) (mandatory).
• Experience with Intune, RMM and telephone platforms.
• Knowledge of network infrastructure (routers, switches, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, Firewalls, VLANs).
• Strong customer support and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for customers.
• Attend customer sites to troubleshoot and perform maintenance.
• Manage incidents and requests through the Service Desk Tool.
• Keep customers updated on cases per SLAs.
• Escalate high-priority issues to management.
• Monitor the status, usage, and reporting of customer sites.
• Install, test, maintain and repair hardware and software.
• Document processes and record tickets for ongoing work.
