Job summary

Emplyfy is seeking an IT Engineer to join a fast-paced MSP team in the UK. You will be the primary contact for customers, troubleshoot on-site when required, and manage incidents through our service desk system.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in a similar role, with Cyber Essentials, GDPR security, Office 365, Intune, RMM and network experience. You’ll collaborate with providers and uphold strong SLAs.

Qualifications

• At least five years in a similar IT support/engineer role.
• Experience configuring Cyber Essentials and GDPR security standards.
• Proficient with Office 365 cloud services and collaboration tools.
• Knowledge of Intune, RMM platforms and phone systems.
• Strong network infra skills including DNS/DHCP and firewalls.
• Ability to work with service providers and follow best practices.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for customers and manage ticket flow.
• Visit customer sites to troubleshoot and perform maintenance.
• Resolve incidents via the Service Desk tool and update cases.
• Keep customers informed in line with SLAs and escalate when needed.
• Monitor site status, usage, and reports to meet business needs.
• Install, test, and repair hardware and software as required.
• Document processes and ensure accurate ticket records.
• Handle high-priority incidents on-site and remotely as needed.
