Job summary

Emplyfy in Hoddesdon, United Kingdom, is seeking an experienced IT Engineer to join a fast-paced MSP team. You will be the first point of contact for customers, visit sites to troubleshoot and maintain systems, and manage incidents through the Service Desk tool.

The role requires 5+ years of relevant experience and expertise in Cyber Essentials, GDPR, Office 365, Intune, RMM, and network infra. A strong customer focus and problem-solving mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT support experience (MSP environment).
• Configuring Cyber Essentials and GDPR security standards.
• Office 365 Cloud (Email, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive).
• Intune and RMM and Telephone platform experience.
• Network infrastructure maintenance (Routers, Switches, APs, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, Firewalls, VLANs).
• Ability to proactively support and collaborate with service providers.
• Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 (GPOs, Security).
• Azure administration and implementations.
• Good understanding of Windows 10/11 and Mac.
• Strong customer support and communication; team player.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for customers.
• Attend customer sites as required to troubleshoot and perform maintenance.
• Manage incidents and requests via the Service Desk Tool.
• Keep customers updated on their cases within SLAs.
• Escalate high-priority matters to Management when required.
• Review daily priorities and take necessary action to achieve results.
• Monitor integrity and status of customer sites; ensure requirements are met.
• Install, test, maintain and repair hardware and software.
• Document processes and record tickets for outstanding work.
• Manage high-priority incidents on-site and off-site.
