Job summary

Emplyfy is seeking an experienced IT Engineer to join a fast-paced MSP environment. You will be the first line of contact for customers, visit sites as needed to troubleshoot and resolve issues, and manage incidents through the Service Desk Tool.

You will maintain security standards (Cyber Essentials, GDPR) and work with Office 365, Intune, RMM, and Azure across Windows servers and endpoints. Strong communication and problem-solving are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a similar IT support/engineering role.
• Configuring Cyber Essentials and GDPR security standards (mandatory).
• Office 365 Cloud (Email, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive) mandatory.
• Intune and RMM and telephone platform experience.
• Network infra maintenance: routers, switches, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, firewalls, VLANs.
• Strong customer support and communication; team player.
• Windows Server 2016/2019/2022: GPOs and security policies.
• Azure administration and implementations.
• Knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Mac.
• Imaging and client builds familiarity.
• Able to collaborate proactively with service providers.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for customers.
• Attend customer sites to troubleshoot and perform maintenance.
• Manage incidents and requests via the Service Desk Tool.
• Keep customers updated on cases per SLA.
• Escalate high-priority issues to management.
• Review priorities daily to achieve results.
• Monitor customer sites and ensure requirements are met.
• Install, test, maintain and repair hardware and software.
• Document processes and log tickets for outstanding work.
• Handle high-priority incidents on-site and off-site.
