Job summary

Emplyfy in Weybridge is seeking an IT Engineer to join our MSP operations and support a portfolio of recognised clients. The role emphasizes customer-facing incident management, on-site visits, and timely problem resolution in a fast-paced environment.

You will manage tickets, coordinate with service providers, and ensure the integrity of customer sites while maintaining high service standards. 5+ years in a similar role is expected, with strong security and cloud platform experience.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years' experience in a similar IT role.
• Configuring and implementing Cyber Essentials and GDPR security standards.
• Office 365 Cloud experience (Email, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive).
• Intune, RMM and telephone platform experience.
• Network infrastructure maintenance and installations (Routers, Switches, APs, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, Firewalls, VLANs).
• Strong customer communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for customers.
• Attend customer sites to troubleshoot and perform maintenance.
• Manage incidents and requests through the Service Desk Tool.
• Keep customers updated on cases per SLAs.
• Escalate high-priority matters to Management when required.
• Review daily priorities to achieve results.
• Monitor site integrity and reporting to meet business requirements.
• Install, test, maintain and repair hardware and software.
• Document processes and record tickets for outstanding work.
• Manage high-priority incidents both on-site and off-site.
