Job summary

Holy Family Catholic Multi Academy Trust is seeking an enthusiastic IT Apprentice to join the ICT team at St John Plessington Catholic College, Wallasey. You will gain hands-on experience supporting teaching, learning and administration through reliable IT services.

You will work toward the IT Support Level 3 Apprenticeship with Now Skills, receiving structured training, mentoring and opportunities to grow within Wirral and Cheshire.

Qualifications

• Genuine passion for IT and commitment to a long-term career in the field.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to learning.
• Excellent communication and people skills, able to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
• Enthusiastic, adaptable and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line IT support for equipment including desktops, laptops and classroom tech.
• Monitor and maintain the school network and wireless systems.
• Support classroom technology such as projectors, smartboards and AV equipment.
• Manage ICT equipment inventory and log licences.
• Participate in structured training with Now Skills.
