Job summary

The White Horse Federation is seeking an IT Support Apprentice to join our IT Services Team. This role offers hands-on IT experience, a recognised qualification, and mentorship while supporting staff and pupils across our schools.

You will provide first-line IT support, help install and maintain hardware/software, and contribute to projects ensuring reliable technology across the Trust. A great fit for problem solvers keen to learn in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at grade 4/C or above or willingness to work towards.
• Strong interest in information technology and eagerness to learn.
• Good communication and customer service skills; able to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line IT support to staff and students.
• Assist with troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues.
• Support the setup and maintenance of laptops, desktops, tablets and other devices.
• Help manage user accounts and permissions.
• Maintain accurate IT asset and inventory records.
• Assist with software installations, updates and system maintenance.
• Support the IT team with ongoing projects and service improvements.
• Ensure all work aligns with Trust policies and data protection requirements.
