Job summary

Conister Bank Limited, based in the Isle of Man, seeks an experienced banking executive to become the Managing Director. You will lead the Bank's performance, strategy, and governance, reporting to the Chair and parent CEO, shaping long-term success.

You will drive strategic plans, manage profitability, and represent the Bank with regulators, the Board, and stakeholders while delivering robust customer service. This role requires UK-Isle of Man market expertise and relocation flexibility.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership at executive level in banking or financial services.
• Strong track record of delivering strategic growth and profitability.
• Extensive knowledge of UK and Isle of Man markets and regulation.
• Ability to work with regulators, Board, and senior stakeholders.
• Eligibility to work and live on the Isle of Man or relocate.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategic vision, plans and long-term objectives for the Bank.
• Lead profitability, growth and operational performance.
• Forge commercial opportunities and partnerships.
• Develop and mentor teams across Isle of Man and UK.
• Act as spokesperson for the Bank and ensure regulatory compliance.
