Job summary

Isle of Man Financial Services Authority invites applications for a Manager - Banking (Prudential Supervision). The role focuses on supervising a portfolio of regulated banks, applying risk-based methodologies and delivering supervisory outcomes in line with UK and international standards.

The position requires substantial banking regulation experience, strong stakeholder skills and the ability to lead inspections and responses to technical queries.

Qualifications

• Hold or be willing to work towards a relevant professional qualification.
• Evidence of Continual Professional Development.
• Extensive banking or equivalent experience in compliance, assurance, risk or audit.
• Proven experience with a financial services regulator, ideally in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of banking sector legislation, regulation and guidance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a portfolio of banks effectively and efficiently.
• Support the Prudential Supervision Division and other divisions as required.
• Deliver supervisory methodology and risk-based engagement for banks.
• Handle regulatory returns and technical queries from banks.
• Lead or assist supervisory inspections and stakeholder engagements.
• Maintain relationships with regulated entities, regulators and industry bodies.
• Log breaches and complaints and drive remedial actions.
