Job description

Fram is working with an investment management firm that is looking to engage with an experienced and Level 4 qualified investment professional to support investment colleagues across portfolio oversight, implementation, and operational investment processes. The position plays an important role in maintaining accuracy across portfolios and ensuring a consistent approach to how changes are executed and recorded. The role can be based anywhere in the UK.

The work involves monitoring portfolios for drift, breaches, and suitability, preparing and validating rebalancing instructions, and implementing trades across multiple platforms and custodians. There is regular interaction with providers and systems teams, along with involvement in transitions and the operational elements of updating underlying securities and funds.

The successful individual will contribute to investment reporting, performance summaries, and due diligence materials, while helping to strengthen data quality and workflow efficiency. The role works closely with investment leadership, operations colleagues, and client-facing teams, and suits someone who enjoys combining technical knowledge with detailed process oversight.

This may appeal to someone with experience in portfolio implementation, investment operations, or multi asset oversight who is comfortable managing varied workflows and working with autonomy. Strong organisational skills, accuracy, and confidence using investment systems and data tools will be important, together with the Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent.
