As an Investment Manager – Industrial, you will be responsible for delivering strong financial and investment performance across industrial and distribution assets held within Aviva‑managed funds or joint venture arrangements. You will define and implement business plans and asset strategies to drive outperformance, oversee value‑enhancing initiatives, and forecast future asset performance. Your role will involve evaluating returns on capital expenditure, making strategic recommendations to fund managers and clients, and managing key external relationships. You will lead on sourcing, underwriting, and executing complex real‑estate transactions, including acquisitions and disposals, while identifying new investment opportunities and themes. Acting as a senior team member, you will foster a collaborative, high‑performance culture, ensure compliance with governance and risk standards, and champion ESG integration within asset strategies. Additionally, you will maintain strong market knowledge, represent Aviva Investors externally, and enhance our reputation as a leading real‑estate investor through excellence in performance and client service.
Professional qualification – MRICS or equivalent.
Evidence of innovative thinking and an ability to turn ideas into reality.
Financially literate with the ability to assess commercial trends and anticipate their impact on the sector strategy.
Analytical capabilities to underpin recommendations to the business, being able to clearly evidence and assess ROI, provide NPV and forecast cash flows, and understand key drivers of IRR and profitability.
A track record of delivering complex investment management initiatives in industrial, that deliver value to fund performance.
