Overview

Project Manager – Investment Management (Buy-Side)

A leading global Investment Manager is seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver front-to-back change initiatives. The first assignment will focus on risk and performance projects, with responsibility for overseeing a growing change team that is set to double from 10 to 20 people.

This position follows a hybrid working model, with three days per week in the office.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of complex projects, initially across risk and performance.
• Manage and scale a project team, driving growth from 10 to 20 members.
• Partner with portfolio managers, risk, performance, operations, and technology teams to ensure business priorities are met.
• Establish and maintain project governance, tracking milestones, risks, and dependencies.
• Ensure timely, high-quality delivery across multiple workstreams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within asset management / buy-side.
• Track record delivering projects in risk, performance, or related front office functions.
• Strong leadership skills with experience growing and managing teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including senior-level engagement.
• Good understanding of the investment management lifecycle and operating environment.
