Key Responsibilities
- Supporting Aboria’s investment processes including market research, financial modelling, due diligence, and preparation of investment memos
- Assisting in evaluating new acquisition opportunities across key markets
- Monitoring asset performance, analyse variances, and supporting the development of asset management strategies
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders including brokers, consultants, and advisors
- Preparing reports and presentations for colleagues and investors
Market Research
- Conduct market analysis including demographics, supply/demand trends, comparable sales, leasing comps, and economic drivers to underpin Aboria’s investment strategy
- Prepare concise summaries and visual presentations for internal team discussions and client meetings
Experience & Skills
Required
- A demonstrable interest in real estate and keen interest in business strategy
- Experience within a finance, mathematics, economics, science, or real estate role
- Degree qualification (or equivalent experience), ideally in a related field or including relevant experience, such as finance, mathematics, economics, science, or real estate
- Strong numerical and qualitative analytical skills, and familiarity with financial modelling
- IT literate and fully conversant with all Microsoft packages including Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent attention to detail, good organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; including the ability to prepare and present research and financial data to team members, clients, and other business contacts
- Self‑motivated and proactive, with curiosity and willingness to problem‑solve and learn
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with team members, and relationships with external parties while working to tight deadlines
- Comfortable working with structured and unstructured data, with an ability to organise, clean, and interpret datasets to support analysis and reporting
Preferred
- Experience working with complex datasets and using AI tools
- Prior experience in an analytical role within real estate, asset management, investment banking, private equity, or another related sector
- Familiarity with data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) or basic knowledge of analytical coding (e.g. Python, SQL) is beneficial
