Amazon MGM Studios is the home for talent, creating and producing Original films and television series for a global audience. Original series premiere exclusively on Prime Video, which is available in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide. Amazon MGM Studios also produces and acquires Original movies for theatrical release and exclusively for Prime Video.

We are seeking an International Theatrical Post Production Manager to manage across Post, Localization, and Delivery to meet the requisite formats, timelines, and geographies to support international theatrical distribution. This role requires a deep understanding of localization and mastering timelines, censorship regulations, and theatrical delivery formats to ensure a seamless and high‑quality release experience.

Key Job Responsibilities
Manage Timelines and Schedules
  • Oversee timelines for asset delivery and mastering, ensuring processes start on schedule and all localized content is ready for release.
  • Collaborate closely with Post Production leadership and creative talent to understand project schedules and creative requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to meet deadlines.
Source and Manage Assets for Localization
  • Source preliminary and final materials from Post to support localization.
  • Work closely with localization teams and dubbing managers to ensure creative requirements and timelines are met.
Censorship & Compliance
  • Ensure all localized content meets censorship requirements.
DCP Mastering & Quality Control
  • Oversee the DCP mastering process for original, dubbed, and subtitled versions.
Theatrical Release Formats & Accessibility
  • Deliver all theatrical release formats (2D, 3D, IMAX, 4DX, D-BOX, ScreenX, and other PLFs) in accordance with agreed timeframe.
  • Identify and manage accessibility file requirements, ensuring compliance with local standards.
Theatrical Site Management
  • Coordinate with theatrical sites for bookings, test screenings, and key distribution.
  • Order digital keys and manage early screenings as needed.
Theatrical Sub-distributor and Vendor Management
  • Manage assets to and from ROW Theatrical sub-distribution partners for quick turn downstream use.
  • Work closely with key vendors to ensure all materials meet Amazon’s high quality bar.
Qualifications
  • Extensive experience at a Studio/Lab.
  • Proven experience in international theatrical mastering or distribution within the film or entertainment industry.
  • Experience working with localization providers, Studio operations, and creative teams.
  • Familiarity with DCP mastering, quality control processes, and theatrical release formats.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and meeting aggressive deadlines.
  • Experience working effectively across cross‑functional teams and partnering well with people at all levels within an organization.
  • Strong knowledge of censorship regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Problem‑solving, can‑do attitude; embraces challenges and embraces change.
