Job summary

Inventive Search in Basildon, Essex is seeking an organised Internal Sales Support to assist the sales function and manage customer relationships. You will be the first point of contact for enquiries, helping identify opportunities to upsell MSP services.

Working with Account Managers and Technical teams, you will support orders, renewals, and customer documentation, ensuring a smooth end-to-end experience and building long-term partnerships.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Sales Support or Customer Service.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
• Proactive, customer-focused mindset with growth drive.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage relationships with a portfolio of SME customers.
• Respond to enquiries by phone and email with professionalism.
• Prepare quotations, process orders and renewals.
• Maintain up-to-date customer information in CRM.
• Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell MSP services.
• Collaborate with Account Managers and Technical teams.
• Support sales with administration, reporting, and documentation.
• Monitor contract renewal dates and engage on renewals.
• Build long-term customer partnerships.
