Job summary

Confidential is seeking an Internal Sales person in Northampton to join a well-established electrical wholesale branch. You will be based in the sales office and on the trade counter, handling queries, quotations, and helping drive branch growth.

Ideal candidates will have good electrical product knowledge, strong relationship-building skills, and a background in internal or trade sales within an electrical wholesale environment. A friendly, professional telephone manner is essential.

• Good knowledge of electrical products and their applications.

• Experience in a trade counter or internal/telephone sales in an electrical wholesale environment.

Responsibilities

• Based in the sales office and on the trade counter you will be an integral part of a busy branch.
• Answer all telephone enquiries, dealing with sales queries and quotations.
• Represent the internal sales department within the branch and assist growth of the business to exceed sales targets.
• Ensure customer needs are dealt with quickly and efficiently while providing a service that encourages return business.
• Being part of the team also involves other branch roles including serving on the trade counter and in stores.

Internal Sales person required for a well-established business within the electrical wholesale industry. The company look to employ their staff for the long term and provide opportunities for progression within the business

The responsibilities

• Based in the sales office and on the trade counter you will become an integral part of a busy and growing branch
• Answer all telephone enquiries, dealing with sales queries and quotations
• You will represent the internal sales department within the branch and assist with the growth of the business working as a team to exceed sales targets
• You will ensure that the needs of the customers are dealt with quickly and efficiently whilst providing a service that ensures that customers return on a regular base
• Being an integral part of the team also involves other roles within the branch including serving on the trade counter and in stores

Skills & Experience needed?

• Good Electrical Product knowledge
• The ability to build relationships with different types of customer
• Have worked on the trade counter or within an internal sales / telephone sales role previously in an electrical wholesale environment
• Good telephone manner
• Friendly, articulate, customer focused

Salary depending on experience plus bonus
