This is a key role ensuring strong governance, robust supplier compliance, and effective procurement policy management across the function. We are looking for a contractor who can start quickly and operate confidently in a fast-paced environment.

Governance Operations
  • Prepare and coordinate board and committee papers
  • Develop agendas, capture accurate minutes, and track actions
  • Maintain consistent governance processes and documentation
  • Support effective decision‑making across procurement leadership forums
Supplier Compliance
  • Lead supplier due‑diligence and ongoing compliance monitoring
  • Conduct ESG checks and track mandatory supplier requirements
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date supplier data across the lifecycle
  • Strengthen supplier assurance processes across procurement
Policy & Change
  • Maintain procurement policies, procedures, Terms of Reference and templates
  • Update controls and documentation in line with best practice
  • Support the function to adopt and embed procedural or policy changes
  • Champion consistency and continuous improvement initiatives
Profile

A successful Interim Procurement Improvement Manager should have:

  • Strong background in procurement governance, compliance or operations
  • Ability to step into a complex environment and add value immediately
  • Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder‑management skills
  • Experience within regulated or complex organisations (desirable)
