Job summary

A leading engineering consultancy is looking for an Interim Head of Engineering for a 6-month contract outside IR35. The role involves managing industrialisation programs and providing guidance to the Product Engineering and Advanced Manufacturing teams. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in the automotive sector and strong leadership skills. This position is commutable from Hereford/Kidderminster.

Responsibilities

• Manage and drive the rollout of industrialisation programs in coordination with the wider operations team and external contractors.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and oversight to the Product Engineering and Advanced Manufacturing teams.
• Work closely with Operations to integrate engineering solutions into production.
• Review and validate test specifications, product standards, and feasibility enquiries.
• Guide root cause analysis and implement corrective actions where necessary.
