A healthcare organisation in the East of England is seeking an Interim Chief Medical Officer. The role focuses on providing strategic medical leadership and involves improving clinical quality and governance. Candidates should have a strong background in GP or Emergency Medicine and prior provider-side experience. The assignment is expected to last approximately 4-6 months, requiring some on-site presence and operates under band VSM remuneration.
We are currently working with our client, a healthcare organisation based in the East of England, who are looking for a new Interim Chief Medical Officer.
This role is looking to start ASAP and will be for circa 4-6 months. The Interim Chief Medical Officer job will ideally be performed on a 4-day week basis. Regarding remuneration, this role falls inside IR35 and is band VSM, via a Fixed Term Contract. In addition, the successful candidate will need to have some weekly on-site presence.
The organisation is seeking someone with a GP or Emergency Medicine background, and with strong experience on the provider side rather than commissioning.
