Interim Change Manager - Global HR Transformation

Role: Interim Change Manager - HR

Rate: £440 per day (£61.14 per hour @ 7.2 hours per day, Umbrella, Inside IR35)

Client: Major Science leader

Duration: 12 months (scope to extend)

Location: Hybrid and in Manchester

A global Science-led organisation is in the midst of a major HR transformation programme to simplify, standardise and automate HR processes, and improve productivity.

A central Transformation Office has been established, and they now need an Interim Change Manager to lead the Change across People and Business Partnering Workstreams.

The Role

As Change Management Lead, you will own and deliver the change strategy for a large-scale HR transformation. Working closely with the Transformation Office and senior HR leaders, you'll drive adoption across multiple workstreams and geographies, ensuring the new HR operating model lands successfully.

This is a high-impact role with real influence on how HR operates at scale.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead the end-to-end Change Management strategy for HR transformation
  • Coordinate Change delivery across multiple workstreams and global teams
  • Build and mobilise a network of Change Managers and local Change Champions
  • Partner with senior HR leaders on stakeholder engagement and readiness
  • Drive adoption, manage resistance, and track change impact and outcomes

Requirements
  • Proven experience leading Change in large, complex transformation programs
  • Strong background in HR transformation and operating model change
  • Experience working in global, matrixed environments
  • Solid grounding in recognised change methodologies
