Interim Accountant - Reading (Hybrid) - £200 per day - 6-month interim assignment

About the Job

An excellent opportunity for a technically capable Accountant to support statutory reporting and group consolidation on an interim basis. You will play a key role in delivering year-end accounts and supporting the adoption of updated FRS 102 standards across the business.

Duties

• Preparing statutory accounts and disclosures across multiple legal entities and jurisdictions
• Producing audit-ready working papers and technical accounting documentation
• Supporting external audit activity and acting as a key point of contact for auditors
• Assisting in the implementation of changes under the updated FRS 102 framework
• Gathering and validating financial data for consolidation and reporting purposes
• Contributing to the implementation of lease accounting software
• Liaising with UK and European finance teams to ensure consistency and accuracy in reporting

About the Successful Applicant

You will be ACA, ACCA (or equivalent) part-qualified or QBE, with experience preparing statutory accounts under FRS 102 within a multi-entity environment. A strong grasp of technical accounting, good analytical skills.
