Job description
Role Overview

We're looking for an Intelligence & MI Analyst with a strong governance and control mindset to help ensure that Distribution operates within a trusted, well‑managed, and compliant intelligence environment. You'll strengthen our Intelligence and MI foundations, providing oversight, structure, and stewardship for accurate reporting, confident decision‑making, and disciplined performance management. Your work will ensure that all insights used across Sales and Account Management are consistent, credible, and aligned with regulatory and enterprise standards.

Responsibilities
  • Lead governance, accuracy, and integrity of all intelligence across Distribution, establishing frameworks, controls, and standards to ensure reliable, compliant decision‑making.
  • Act as the accountable steward for insight in Sales and Account Management, ensuring alignment with enterprise policies, risk frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
  • Design, build, and maintain MI platforms, dashboards, and datasets that provide clear, trustworthy insights into performance, activity, and client opportunities.
  • Shape future intelligence architecture, ensuring automation, traceability, and auditability of data flows, models, and datasets aligned with a strong control environment.
  • Collaborate with business teams to translate requirements into well‑governed analytical solutions, leading the development and implementation of MI tools supporting strategic goals.
  • Promote a culture of controlled self‑service by delivering dashboards and tools that enable teams to access and use MI independently and responsibly.
  • Own the production of regulated and compliance‑related intelligence outputs, ensuring accuracy, validation, auditability, and regulatory adherence.
  • Serve as a subject‑matter expert on intelligence governance and best practices, providing guidance and ensuring high standards of intelligence literacy across Distribution.
Qualifications
  • Proven BI capability with strong Power BI and Tableau skills, including designing intuitive and scalable dashboards.
  • Strong data handling skills, confidently working with structured datasets, models, and ETL processes.
  • Practical CRM expertise, particularly with Salesforce or similar systems, including reporting and data structures.
  • Experience supporting Sales, Account Management, or Distribution through MI and performance reporting.
  • Data governance mindset, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and credible controls across all outputs.
  • Excellent stakeholder communication skills, translating data into clear insights and influencing non‑technical audiences.
  • Experience building self‑service tools and training users to access and interpret MI independently.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance reporting, maintaining audit‑ready documentation and controls.
  • Problem‑solving approach, capable of transforming business questions into practical, scalable analytical solutions.
  • As a precondition of employment, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
