Join the Environment Agency and lead the Integrated Environment Planning (IEP) team in the Hertfordshire and North London area. In this leadership role you will provide strategic direction and support to a specialist team focused on delivering environmental improvements for water quality, water resources and river catchments.
Key responsibilities include working closely with water companies on investment programmes, holding water companies to account for their environmental commitments, overseeing budgets, work planning, and recruitment, and managing the health, safety and wellbeing of the team. Additional responsibilities include an active role in the Agency’s Incident Response, making yourself available to respond to incidents or provide business continuity support during an incident as required.
The IEP team is one of two in the area, providing trusted advisory support to internal and external partners to facilitate integrated environmental planning. The focus is on water quality, with the other IEP team concentrating on water resources.
