Job summary

NFU Mutual in the Borders region is seeking a Customer Service Adviser to deliver first-class customer service and compliant day-to-day operations. You will be the first point of contact, advising on insurance products and maximizing cross-sell opportunities while maintaining accurate records and upholding regulatory standards.

You will handle inquiries, process policy changes, manage renewals and support colleagues with administration and document handling.

Qualifications

• A valid UK driving licence.
• National 5 Maths and English or equivalent.
• Be a confident, effective communicator and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Handle general customer enquiries via telephone and face to face.
• Process policy alterations and manage renewals across products.
• Support colleagues with renewal books, administration and policy processing.
• Maintain accurate client records and documentation.
• Produce correspondence within required time frames and quality standards.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities and introduce customers to Financial Adviser.
• Stay compliant with NFU Mutual and FCA requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Management Team.
