Instrumentation Engineer Opportunity - Join a Leading Chemical Manufacturer

Are you an experienced Instrumentation Maintenance Technician seeking a new challenge? This company is currently seeking a skilled Instrumentation Engineer to join their dynamic Maintenance team at their state‑of‑the‑art chemical production facility.

Location & Compensation
  • Clitheroe
  • £24.00 ph - Umbrella rates available
  • Inside IR35
Responsibilities
  • Responding to plant breakdowns to diagnose and resolve instrumentation and electrical faults
  • Performing routine preventative maintenance on safety‑critical instrumentation
  • Contributing to equipment reliability improvements through failure analysis and root cause investigations
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation in the company's CMMS system
Qualifications
  • Recognised Instrumentation/Electrical maintenance apprenticeship and attainment of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
  • Familiarity with formal permit to work systems, including lock‑out tag‑out procedures
  • Experience working in a process plant environment, ideally in the chemical or oil and gas industry
