Job summary

Class Act Teaching Services is seeking a Year 1 Teacher for a part-time, long-term role starting November 2026 at a nurturing primary school within a supportive multi-academy trust.

You will plan and deliver lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum, support pupil development, differentiate learning, and work collaboratively with staff and families to monitor progress and maintain high standards of behaviour and safeguarding.

Qualifications

• QTS required and experience teaching within Key Stage 1.
• Strong understanding of Year 1 curriculum and child development.
• Excellent classroom management and safeguarding commitment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
• Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development.
• Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment.
• Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress.
• Support children as they transition from EYFS into Key Stage 1.
• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
