Job summary

Trust Education are recruiting on behalf of a primary school in the WF2 area for a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant supporting Year 1 and Year 2 pupils. This part-time role starts asap and offers a wonderful opportunity to join a supportive Key Stage 1 team.

You will work with small groups and individuals, foster a positive learning environment, and collaborate with staff and parents to help pupils reach their potential. Experience in KS1 and delivering interventions is desirable.

Qualifications

• Must have Teaching Assistant status or relevant experience.
• Experience in Key Stage 1 (Year 1/2).
• Confident delivering intervention programmes and small group support.
• Reliable, organized and able to work as part of a team.
• Proactive and flexible to provide class cover when required.

Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning across Year 1 and Year 2 in all classroom sessions.
• Work with small groups and individual pupils.
• Create a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment.
• Support pupils of all abilities to achieve their potential.
• Collaborate with staff, pupils and parents to support outcomes.
