Job summary

Parkdean Resorts is seeking an inspirational Security Manager to lead the security team across our parks. You will recruit, train and develop the team to deliver a safe, welcoming environment while controlling security operations and CCTV systems.

You will manage incidents, liaise with authorities, and promote a proactive security culture within a fast-paced, guest-focused environment. DBS/background checks will be carried out where appropriate.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a team.
• Current SIA license (Minimum Door Supervision) & full clean UK driving licence (Manual Car).
• Excellent customer service skills and confidence to communicate and influence others.
• Ability to drive a positive security culture within a team and develop the team.
• Commercial awareness and ability to manage budget and rota.
• Experience working in high pressure, fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Plan resource levels to ensure adequate security for the park.
• Utilise security team members to patrol the park, deter incidents and respond as needed.
• Ensure compliance with security assignment instructions and procedures.
• Manage incidents with proper escalation and reporting.
• Oversee security technology and CCTV systems.
• Conduct unbiased investigations and produce detailed statements and reports.
• Review security data using on-park systems to identify vulnerabilities and risks.
• Liaise with local enforcement authorities for inspections and investigations.
• Attend Management and Regional Meetings to promote security awareness.
• Foster accountability, teamwork, trust and continuous improvement.
• Conduct regular 1:1s and team briefings to keep the team engaged and efficient.
