  • Ability to read/use technical drawings.
  • Good experience in stock management.

  • Carry out the inspection and testing of received goods.

  • Keep control of all stock parts.

  • Conduct Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) for customers.
  • Assist Quality Engineer with incident investigation.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Receive all goods delivered to the Company.
  • Carry out the inspection and testing of received goods following relevant procedures (including customer returns and chemicals).
  • Maintain the calibration log for all inspection tools and ensure timely calibration of equipment.
  • Manage ERP system (JDE) transactions relevant to the movement of stock (booking it/out, transfer of stock etc.).
  • Report all non-conformities in the system (Incident Log).
  • Keep control of all stock parts (storage, batch control, traceability, system transactions).
  • Issue stock parts to the production department as required (incl. WO picking, system transactions, delivery to shopfloor).
  • Keep the working areas free of hazards and report all issues following company EHS procedure.
  • Carry out stock checks, 5S+1 Audits and other inspections as required.
  • Conduct Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) for customers.
  • Assist Quality Engineer with incident investigation and disposition.
  • For critical components work with Quality Engineer to run programme that monitors part SPC and Quality.
  • Assist with containment actions in stores for issues.
  • Be responsible for collecting data and operator feedback where necessary.
  • Undertake internal/external training as required.
  • Accurately pick stock items and ensure conformity to customer requirements.
  • Pick stock items according to outgoing paperwork, ensuring adherence to customer specifications, including labels and other requirements.
  • Manage shipping logistics and documentation.
  • Prepare shipping paperwork, including customs documentation, using predefined templates within specified deadlines.
  • Carry out goods outwards inspections/ out of box audits following relevant procedures.
  • Complete records accurately, understand quality and compliance requirements, pack boxes securely, and organise collections.
  • Liaise with various carriers for delivery to customers up to the point of delivery.
