This role is within the Fresh Insights team, reporting to the Senior Account Manager – MFP & Produce.
It is a hands-on position working with a diverse range of clients in the produce category, from startups to billion-pound businesses. You will need to understand their operations, categories, and relationships with Tesco, to develop robust, value-added propositions that monetize our data and insights.
Working alongside customer success colleagues, you will build deep relationships within your clients’ businesses, engaging with stakeholders and budget holders across disciplines.
Knowledge of our tools and their value is crucial as you consultatively sell to both existing clients and new prospects in Tesco and data insights.
You will also assist the Senior Account Manager with forecasting, generating new business leads, and proposal development.
The ideal candidate will have account management or category experience in a Tesco-facing role, a proven track record in insight sales, or demonstrated progression in a relevant sales position. Experience in the fresh category is advantageous.
