Job summary

Breedon Group is seeking an Internal Sales Agent to join our Customer Service and Distribution team in Treforest. You will handle inbound enquiries, support TSMs with pricing and quotes, and manage orders while maintaining exceptional customer service.

You will collaborate with distribution and shipping, build strong relationships with customers, and contribute to regional growth in South West and South Wales.

Responsibilities

• Answer customer calls promptly and professionally, delivering excellent service.
• Record and maintain all customer enquiries in the systems.
• Prepare and price quotations within commercial parameters.
• Maintain detailed records of interactions, enquiries, quotations and decisions.
• Process orders and issue acknowledgements accurately and on time.
• Manage enquiries through to conclusion and log outcomes as won or lost.
• Produce weekly sales reports for the Commercial Manager.
• Prepare and price enquiries for Territory Sales Managers, meeting deadlines and SLAs.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales through cross-selling and upselling.
• Investigate and resolve invoice queries within agreed timescales.
• Log and assist in resolving customer complaints with production teams and TSMs.
• Identify new customer opportunities and support growth initiatives.
• Support Distribution by handling enquiries and providing first-contact resolution.
