Diabetes Nurse Specialist – Secondary Care Services

Maternity Cover (Fixed Term / Secondment)

Are you looking for a change or a new challenge?

We are seeking an enthusiasticDiabetes Nurse Specialist (Band 6)to join our Grampian Diabetes Nursing Team for 22.5 hours per week on a 12-month fixed-term contract or secondmentto cover maternity leave.

This role involves working across acute services and managing a varied caseload, including people with Type 1 diabetes, complex Type 2 diabetes, and other forms of diabetes. You will also play a key role in supporting and educating other healthcare professionalson diabetes care and management.

Essential skills and experience:

  • Strong knowledge of diabetes technologies
  • Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care
