Job summary

Innkeepers Collection Night Porter is a part‑time, permanent overnight role at Mitchells & Butler PLC in Lytham. Shifts run 11pm to 7am, with a DBS check required as part of the recruitment process.

You will be the first point of contact for late arrivals and walk‑ins, ensuring a warm welcome and guest safety. The position also involves front‑of‑house duties and may include cleaning tasks across breakfast and meeting areas.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact when checking in late arrivals and walk‑ins.
• Ensure a warm, friendly and genuine welcome to all guests.
• The role is varied and, depending on your site, may include cleaning tasks within the front of house, external and breakfast areas, setting up the meeting room(s) and breakfast for the next day.
• You’ll ensure guest and business safety and security is top priority at all times.
• In the event of a fire, evacuating all guests and team from the business safely and quickly.
• Answer telephone enquiries and deal with guest complaints to ensure everyone enjoys their stay.

This is an overnight position, with shifts typically ranging from 11pm to 7am (depending on the site).
