Mitchells & Butlers plc is seeking a Night Porter for an overnight role with shifts typically from 11pm to 7am. The role includes welcoming guests, managing late check-ins, and supporting front-of-house duties across sites while ensuring safety and security.

Applicants should be comfortable working alone, demonstrate a can-do attitude, and excel in guest service and communication. A DBS check is part of recruitment.

Responsabilités

• Be the first point of contact for late check-ins and walk-ins.
• Provide a warm, friendly welcome to guests.
• Assist with front of house tasks, including breakfast setup and cleaning as needed.
• Ensure guest and business safety and security at all times.
• In case of fire, evacuate guests and staff quickly and safely.
• Answer telephone inquiries and address guest complaints to maintain a positive stay.

This is an overnight position, with shifts typically ranging from 11pm to 7am (depending on the site).

Successful applicants will be required to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check as part of the recruitment process.

WHAT YOU'LL DO IN THIS ROLE:

• Be the first point of contact when checking in late arrivals and walk-ins.
• Ensure a warm, friendly and genuine welcome to all guests.
• The role is varied and, depending on your site, may include: cleaning tasks within the front of house, external and breakfast areas, setting up the meeting room(s) and breakfast for the next day
• You’ll ensure guest and business safety and security is top priority at all times.
• In the event of a fire, evacuating all guests and team from the business safely and quickly
• Answer telephone enquiries and deal with guest complaints to ensure everyone enjoys their stay.
