Infrastructure Support Engineer (Previous Relevant Experience is Required), Slough

This role involves providing administrative support to the Network Operations Centre (NOC) engineering team, ensuring incident resolution in line with procedures and KPIs. The position requires working within a 24/7, 365-day shift rota.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Handle incoming calls and emails, responding according to KPIs.
2. Create incident tickets based on customer reports.
3. Action Service Requests.
4. Allocate and dispatch tickets to support and engineering teams.
5. Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
6. Coordinate traffic management activities.
7. Communicate incident updates to customers.
8. Coordinate with utility companies regarding power-related network issues.

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience supporting enterprise and service provider networks, preferably in a NOC environment.
• Experience with 1st line diagnostics and incident resolution.
• Strong communication skills and ability to liaise at all levels.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
