Infrastructure Support Engineer (Previous Relevant Experience Required), Luton, Bedfordshire

This role is with Telent, located in Luton, Bedfordshire, United Kingdom. The position requires EU work permit.

Job Overview:

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working closely with technical experts to impact critical infrastructure. The role involves supporting the Network Operations Centre (NOC) to ensure incident resolution and meet contractual KPIs, working on a 24/7 shift rota.

Responsibilities:

1. Handle incoming calls and emails, responding according to KPIs.
2. Create incident tickets based on customer reports.
3. Action Service Requests.
4. Assign tickets to support and engineering teams, and other providers.
5. Manage incident tickets with updates.
6. Coordinate traffic management with relevant teams and providers.
7. Communicate incident updates to customers.
8. Coordinate with utility companies regarding power issues.

Candidate Profile:

Previous experience supporting enterprise and service provider networks, preferably within a NOC environment. Experience in 1st line diagnostics and incident resolution. Excellent communication skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
