Infrastructure Support Engineer (Previous Relevant Experience is Required), Swindon, Wiltshire

Role Overview:

The NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician will provide administrative support to the NOC engineering team, ensuring incident resolution aligns with procedures and contractual KPIs. This role involves working on a 24/7 365-day shift rota.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Handle incoming calls and emails, responding in line with KPIs.
2. Create network incident tickets based on customer reports.
3. Action Service Requests.
4. Allocate/despatch tickets to technical support, field engineers, and service providers.
5. Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
6. Coordinate traffic management with providers, regional control, and field resources.
7. Communicate incident updates to customers.
8. Coordinate with utility companies regarding power-related network issues.

Candidate Requirements:

Previous experience supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, ideally within a NOC environment.

Essential Skills:

• Experience in 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
• Strong communication skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages.
