Infrastructure Support Engineer (Previous Relevant Experience is Required), Bedford

This role is with Telent, located in Bedford, United Kingdom. The position requires EU work permit approval and involves supporting the Network Operations Centre (NOC) team.

Job Overview:

Join Telent's Engineering Team to help build and maintain the nation's critical infrastructure. The NOC Technician will provide administrative support, ensure incident resolution, and work within a 24/7 shift rota.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Handle incoming calls and emails, responding according to KPIs.
2. Create network incident tickets based on customer reports.
3. Action Service Requests and allocate tickets to support teams.
4. Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
5. Coordinate traffic management activities.
6. Communicate with customers and utility companies regarding network issues.

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, preferably in a NOC environment.
• Proficiency in 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
• Strong communication skills across all levels of seniority.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
