Job Description:

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working closely with technical experts dedicated to impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team managing complex and critical tasks, helping keep the nation's critical infrastructure connected and protected 24/7.

The NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician will provide administrative support to the NOC engineering team, ensuring incident resolution in accordance with procedures and meeting contractual KPIs. The role involves working on a 24/7, 365-day shift rota.

What you’ll do:

• Handle incoming phone calls and emails, responding in line with KPIs.
• Create network incident tickets from customer reports.
• Action Service Requests.
• Allocate/despatch tickets to technical support, field engineering, and other service providers.
• Manage Incident tickets with regular updates.
• Organise traffic management, coordinating with providers, regional control, and field resources.
• Communicate with customers about network incidents.
• Coordinate with utility companies regarding power-related network issues.

Who you are:

Previous experience supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, ideally within a NOC environment.

Key Requirements:

• Experience in 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
• Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with all levels of seniority.
• Good understanding of Microsoft Office packages.
