Job Description:

Join our Engineering Team at Telent and be empowered to innovate and develop solutions. Work closely with technical experts committed to making an impact by maintaining the nation's critical infrastructure connectivity and security 24/7.

The NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician will provide administrative support to the NOC engineering team, ensuring incidents are resolved following procedures and meeting contractual KPIs. The role involves working on a 24/7, 365-day shift rota.

What you’ll do:

• Handle incoming calls and emails, responding in line with KPIs.
• Create network incident tickets based on customer reports.
• Action Service Requests.
• Allocate and dispatch tickets to technical support, field engineering groups, and other providers.
• Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
• Coordinate traffic management with providers, control teams, and field resources.
• Communicate with customers about network incidents.
• Coordinate with utility companies during power-related network issues.

Who you are:

Previous experience supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, ideally within a NOC environment.

Key Requirements:

• Experience with 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
• Good communication skills and ability to liaise with all levels of seniority.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office packages.
