Job Description:

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop common solutions, working closely with technical experts committed to impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team managing complex, critical tasks to keep the nation's infrastructure connected and secure 24/7.

The NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician will provide administrative support to the NOC engineering team, ensuring incident resolution aligns with procedures and contractual KPIs. The role involves working in a 24/7, 365-day shift rota.

Responsibilities:
  1. Handle incoming calls and emails, responding in accordance with KPIs.
  2. Create network incident tickets from customer reports.
  3. Action Service Requests.
  4. Allocate/despatch tickets to support and engineering teams, and other service providers.
  5. Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
  6. Coordinate traffic management, liaising with providers, control teams, and field resources.
  7. Communicate incident updates to customers.
  8. Coordinate with utility companies regarding power-related network issues.
Candidate Profile:

Previous experience supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, preferably within a NOC environment.

Key Requirements:
  • Experience in 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of liaising at all levels.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
