Job Description:

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working closely with technical experts who are proud of their impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team handling complex and critical tasks, helping to build and maintain the nation's critical infrastructure connected and protected 24/7.

The NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician provides administrative support to the NOC engineering team, ensuring incident resolution aligns with procedures and contractual KPIs. The role involves working on a 24/7, 365-day shift rota.

What you’ll do:

  • Handle incoming calls and emails, responding per KPIs.
  • Create network incident tickets from customer reports.
  • Action Service Requests.
  • Allocate and dispatch tickets to technical support, field engineers, and service providers.
  • Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
  • Coordinate traffic management with providers, control teams, and field resources.
  • Provide network incident updates to customers.
  • Liaise with utility companies regarding power issues affecting the network.

Who you are:

Previous experience supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, ideally within a NOC environment.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience with 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
  • Good communication skills and ability to liaise at all levels of seniority.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office packages.
