A technology solutions provider in the UK is seeking a technical presales expert focusing on 3D electromagnetic simulations. The role involves contributing to technical sales engagements and delivering complex solutions to clients. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years in electromagnetic simulations and experience with programs like SIMULIA CST Studio Suite. This position offers potential remote/hybrid work and involves travel (5-30%). Applications are accepted continuously.
Contribute to SIMULIA North American technical sales engagements with focus on next generation 3DEXPERIENCE technology throughout multiple industries. Explain, demonstrate and prove the value of 3DS Solutions to our partners/ clients through technical expertise to support the revenue sales plan – opportunity centric / primary Industry & primary Brand. Transfer skills by sharing technical knowledge internally and/or to partners. Define and qualify with Partner/Customer the Demonstration Use Cases. Deliver accurate demonstration and proof of concepts.
SIMULIA technical resource (presales) in North America focused on multiple industries including Aerospace and Defense, High Tech, T&M and Life Sciences.
5-30% travel possible. Remote/hybrid work potential.
Deep understanding of 3D electromagnetic field simulation for a wide range of applications including RF/Microwave design, optics and photonics, antenna design and installed performance, specific absorption rate (SAR), bio‑electromagnetics, co‑existence, de‑sense and interference, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), and environmental effects (E3), Signal Integrity (SI) and Power Integrity (PI). Experience in numerical and simulation techniques for electromagnetic and multi‑physics analysis. Analyzing and interpreting results of electromagnetic simulation to meet end‑user requirement. Experience working in High‑tech, Aerospace and Defense, and/or Life Sciences industries or supporting customers in relevant engineering related applications.
Skills:
Must be able to work in both individual and team situations. Must be comfortable learning emerging technologies and be a self‑starter. Experience working within a software sales environment is preferable.
3D electromagnetic field simulation: RF/microwave design, antenna design, EMC/EMI electrical or electronic design; topological, parametric and multi‑disciplinary optimization; ensure our customer success by mentoring existing customers to use our tools more innovative and effective ways; cultivating new users within our existing customer base as well as developing new customer sites; HPC job submission; scripting and customization; simulation process and data management; engineering business processes improvement; PLM data model; analytics and data visualization; program and project management; cloud computing; system engineering; MW/RF measurement and modelling; desire to learn emerging software solutions, enterprise systems and engineering domains. Must be willing to learn new engineering tools and enterprise systems and demonstrate the use of these tools where appropriate.
