Your knowledge of online media combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities shapes how new and existing businesses grow. Using your relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.

As an Industry Manager, you will work with clients to provide digital solutions to meet and exceed their sales and marketing objectives using a variety of Google products and tools. You will develop C-level relationships with new and existing clients to uncover new business opportunities. You will leverage business judgement to identify, educate, and engage customers with Google's latest advertising products and technologies. You will provide Google client service, research, and market analysis utilizing influencing and relationship-building skills, anticipating how decisions are made, understanding the details of individual campaigns, and persistently exploring, and uncovering the business needs of business lines.

This is a 24 month fixed-term contract opportunity.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world's biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird's eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Minimum qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of industry experience in advertising or media sales, or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Experience managing relationships with customers or agencies and service partners at an executive level.
  • Experience in video products with a focus on performance.
Preferred qualifications

  • Build knowledge of how Google Advertising products work and can be used to help meet a wide range of marketing objectives.
