Job summary

A global biopharmaceutical company based in the UK is seeking a Regulatory Affairs intern for a 12-month placement. Candidates should be enrolled in a scientific or STEM degree and will gain exposure to regulatory activities that support product approvals in the UK and Ireland. The role involves project responsibilities, collaboration with stakeholders, and professional development within a diverse and inclusive environment. This position offers flexibility for remote work with at least 8 days in the office per month.

Job description
  • Gain experience in a broad range of regulatory activities, whilst providing technical and administrative support to the Regulatory Affairs team.
  • Learn about thedevelopmentlifecycle for medicinal products, from application to approval and work across all therapy areas in the Takeda portfolio.
  • In collaboration with an expert team, you will be involved in the maintenance of existing and newmedicinalmarketingauthorisationsfor products in the UK and Ireland.
  • Takeresponsibility for your own projects, in support of Takeda's commercial activities and strategies.
  • Support with the preparation, compilation, submissionand approval of a wide range of regulatory applications for a variety of products licensed via thehealth authorities.
  • Learn about the regulatory environmentin the EU and the UK, and industrychallenges post-Brexit.Helpusshape thefutureoperating model forRegulatoryAffairsat Takeda.
  • Interact with multiple internal and external stakeholders, including the regulatory authorities in the UK and Ireland.
  • Participate in industry group meetings with otherpharmaceuticalcompanies.
  • Take an active role in our early careers community IGNITE and other Takeda Reference groups aligned to our Diversity,Equityand Inclusion values
