Swisslog are seeking an enthusiastic Indirect Buyer to support the Purchasing function at their UK HQ in Redditch.

Your Responsibility

The Indirect Buyer will be responsible for the raising of purchasing orders ensuring the correct process is followed, they must update information in the SAP SD module as well as work with internal and external suppliers. Youwill also be responsible for maintaining current databases as well as working with the Internal Departments within CG&LA Greater Europe. The successful candidate will be there to support the Senior Purchasing Manager in day to day activities and providing support with different tasks when needed.

Your Profile – what we are looking for

All candidates must have strong communication skills, should be able to plan multiple tasks and projects, be accurate in numerical and written work and attain strong presentation, negotiation and organisation skills.

You will have some experience in purchasing administration currently or be a recent graduate with a strong interest in purchasing and supply chain.

Applicants should be able to integrate themselves into a team working environment and have a flexible approach with the ability to work under their own initiative at times.
