Job summary

Qualifications

• 6–12 months experience of prescribing preferred.
• Experience of working in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS).
• Experience running ADHD clinics.

Responsibilities

• Providing assessments and supporting diagnosis for young people with emotional wellbeing and mental health problems.
• Acting as an Independent Nurse Prescriber.
• Prioritising and managing own workload with minimal supervision.
• Providing services to a multicultural and diverse population.
• Working autonomously with other health professionals.
• Offering comprehensive assessments in clinic and service user's home.
• Knowledge of the Mental Health Act and procedures.
• Mentoring and advocating for service users.
