Job summary

National Star in Malvern is seeking warm, confident Support Workers to help a young woman with cerebral palsy live independently in her own bungalow. You will support personal care, mobility and communication, and help her use community activities while promoting choice and autonomy.

The role welcomes applicants who are patient, reliable and able to work as part of a small team, with a focus on person-centred support from the start of a new service opening at the end of October.

Qualifications

• Kind, patient and respectful
• Confident providing personal care
• Comfortable with moving and handling needs
• Able to build trust while respecting boundaries
• Good communicator, including non-verbal cues
• Reliable team player
• Focused on enabling independence and choice
• Willing to drive company vehicles is preferred but not essential
