National Star in Hereford is seeking a Specialist Care and Support Worker to join a small, friendly residential home for young adults with disabilities. You will provide high-quality, person-centred care, support daily living and health needs, and help individuals achieve their goals with dignity and respect.

We offer permanent hours across part-time, full-time and bank contracts, with stable rotas, comprehensive paid training and clear career progression within a supportive multidisciplinary

Qualifications

• Experience in care or similar roles is welcomed but not essential.
• Ability to support people with complex disabilities with dignity.
• Willingness to learn and develop professionally.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality person-centred care and support.
• Support with personal care, daily living and health needs.
• Use specialist equipment such as hoists and wheelchairs.
• Support learning, independence and life skills development.
• Work closely with therapists, nurses, tutors and colleagues.
• Support social activities and community access.
• Accurately record care, progress and achievements.
